Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This policy explains what information iYugam ("we", "us") collects through the website iyugam.com, why, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It covers the website, iYugam accounts and the Contact us form.

Our apps have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them: ProMic Privacy Policy and ExiThreat Privacy Policy. An iYugam website account is separate from your ProMic or ExiThreat account.

1. Information we collect

Visiting the website

You can read iyugam.com without an account. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider receives the technical details your browser sends with each request (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the page.

The Contact us form

Only signed-in visitors can use the form. When you send it we collect:

We ask for an ID so that we know who we are talking to and can keep the form free of fake or abusive messages. Please do not send more than you need to: you may cover numbers on an ID that we do not need, such as the full Aadhaar number.

2. How we use it

We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or send you marketing emails. The only emails we send are verification codes, password reset links and replies to your messages.

3. Who can see it

Only the iYugam team can see contact messages and ID files. Nobody can open an ID file from a browser: it can only be viewed by our administrator through the secured Firebase console. We use these service providers to run the website, and they process information only on our behalf:

ProviderWhat it does for us
Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions) Sign-in, storing accounts, messages and ID files, and checking codes. Data and functions are in Google's Mumbai region (asia-south1).
Google (Gmail)Sending verification codes and telling our team about new messages (these notices do not include your ID file).
Google (gstatic.com)Delivering the Firebase software the website runs in your browser.
GoDaddyHosting the website's pages.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, for example to answer a valid order from a court or a government authority.

4. How long we keep it

5. How we protect it

Everything travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is stored encrypted by Google. Access rules stop any browser from reading other people's data, ID files cannot be read from a browser at all, and only our administrator's account can open them.

6. Your rights and choices

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and similar laws, you can ask to see, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw your consent, and raise a grievance. You can:

7. Children

The website and iYugam accounts are not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant we will also tell signed-in users on the website.
