ProMic's first check runs on the phone itself. Only loud, unusual moments go on to the cloud, so most of what is said is never sent anywhere for analysis.

A shout can be a game or a quarrel. So a sound is turned into text and judged in context before anyone is alarmed, and every failure is logged so it can be fixed.

About iYugam

iYugam is an AI company working across research, products and services. We study how artificial intelligence can recognise risk as it happens, protect people's privacy, and help them act quickly when it matters.

Research. We work on AI that understands sound and language in the real world: detecting signs of danger in live audio, telling a real threat from everyday noise, and automatically finding and hiding personal details in text before it is shared. We favour models that run on the device itself, so sensitive data stays with the person it belongs to.

Products. Our research goes into our own apps. ProMic uses on-device and cloud AI to spot danger during a live stream and alert the people you trust. ExiThreat uses automatic redaction so workers can report abuse without being identified.

Services. We help organisations put AI to work responsibly, from shaping the idea and preparing data to building, testing and running models in production, with privacy and security designed in from the start.

We are a small, independent team. Every app we publish is built, tested and supported by us.
